Who we are
Building a stronger future, one child at a time.
Our work began in 2013, when founder Fatu A. Conneh started her first organization while still in high school. In 2022, the organization was formally reestablished under its current name, Conneh Foundation. Today, the U.S. based nonprofit works with educational institutions, orphanages, and local partners across Africa to help provide children with food, clothing, school supplies, and other basic necessities.

A personal purpose
Meet our founder,
Fatu A. Conneh
Fatu A. Conneh is Liberian and was born and partly raised in Côte d’Ivoire after her parents fled the Liberian Civil War. Her family’s experiences with conflict, displacement, and life in refugee camps gave her a personal understanding of how resource scarcity affects children and inspired her commitment to supporting young people across Africa.
